Review Community Guidelines

Last updated: October 2026

Reviews on Valdor Jets are written by travelers who flew. They help other travelers choose, and they help operators improve. These guidelines explain what a review may contain. They are about how a review is worded, never about what you think of your flight.

What we will never do

  • We never change your star rating. The number you choose is yours. Our review check reads only your written words; it cannot see, suggest or change your rating.
  • We never block an honest review because it is negative. A one-star review written civilly is published exactly as you wrote it.
  • We never write your review for you. Our check may suggest wording. You can accept the suggestion, edit it, or keep your own words, as long as they follow these guidelines.

What the stars mean

  1. 5 starsThe flight went well from start to finish, and you would book this operator again.
  2. 4 starsA good flight, with one or two small things that did not spoil it.
  3. 3 starsAn acceptable flight, with a problem the operator should know about.
  4. 2 starsA poor flight, with a problem that affected your trip.
  5. 1 starThe flight went badly, and you would not book this operator again.

For a rating of 3 stars or fewer, we also ask what the flight was mostly about. That category is a topic tag: it records the subject of your rating, nothing more.

The category never changes the stars you gave, and no score is ever calculated from it. It only governs when a low rating counts toward an operator's score: a rating about something within the operator's control counts once enough different travelers report the same kind of problem.

The guidelines

Keep it to your own trip

  1. G1First-hand experience

Review a flight you took, on the booking the review was sent for. Don't review a trip you weren't on or repeat what someone else told you as if it happened to you.

  2. G2Stay on topic

Write about the flight and the service around it: the aircraft, the crew's service, timing, communication, cabin, catering and ground arrangements. Leave out politics, unrelated disputes and commentary on other customers.

Be civil

  1. G3No abuse

Criticism is welcome; insults are not. Describe what happened and how it affected you rather than name-calling. Profanity aimed at a person is not allowed.

  2. G4No hate, threats or harassment

No slurs, no content that attacks people for who they are (including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability), no threats, and no encouragement of harm.

    Always held for review.

Protect people's privacy

  1. G5Don't name or identify individuals

Refer to roles, not people: "the captain", "the handling agent", "the dispatcher". Don't include names, photos, tail-to-person links or other details that identify a specific crew member, staff member or passenger.

    Removed or held.

  2. G6No personal information

No phone numbers, email addresses, home or postal addresses, account or booking numbers, aircraft registration (tail) numbers, payment details, or document numbers, whether yours or anyone else's.

    Removed before publishing; never published.

Be fair about serious claims

  1. G7Opinion, not accusations stated as fact

You can say a flight felt unsafe to you, or that you were unhappy with a charge. Don't state as fact that a person or company committed a crime, fraud, or a safety or regulatory violation. Describe what you saw and experienced. If you believe a safety rule was broken, report it through Report an issue on your trip, where our team can look into it.

    Held for review.

Keep it genuine

  1. G8No conflicts of interest

Don't review an operator you work for, own, or compete with, and don't offer or accept anything in return for a review.

  2. G9No advertising or links

No promotions, referral codes, links or contact details for other services.

  3. G10Your own words

Write the review yourself. You may use our suggested wording; don't paste in text copied from elsewhere.

How reviews are checked

  1. While you write. When you submit, an automated check reads your written review (never your rating) against these guidelines. If something may not fit, it highlights the words and suggests a civil alternative. You decide: accept, edit, or keep your own words.
  2. Before publishing. A final check looks only for the most serious issues: hate, threats or harassment (G4), a named or identifiable person (G5), personal information (G6), and serious accusations stated as fact (G7). Personal information is removed. If the review needs a closer look, it is held for review by a member of our team. It is not rejected and your rating is not changed. You'll see "Submitted — under review against our community guidelines."
  3. Human review. Our team checks a held review against these guidelines only. They do not decide whether your opinion is right. They either publish it or return it to you with the guideline it didn't meet so you can edit it. Every decision is recorded with the reviewer and the guideline applied.
  4. If the check is unavailable. Your review is never blocked because our check is down. It is saved and held for a person to review instead.

Reporting a review

If you believe a published review breaks these guidelines, use the Report link beside it. A report sends the review to the same human review. Reporting a review you simply disagree with will not remove it; reviews are removed only when they break a guideline.
