Operator Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-08-16
These Operator Terms & Conditions ("Terms") describe the terms governing a charter operator's participation in the Valdor Jets marketplace. They are provided for your reference and do not by themselves create a binding commercial relationship between an operator and Valdor.
1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms govern an operator's participation in the Valdor Jets marketplace — listing empty-leg availability, receiving and responding to quote requests, and fulfilling bookings sourced through the Website. They do not, by themselves, create the commercial relationship between an operator and Valdor; that relationship is established separately and in writing. Valdor does not maintain operator accounts and does not capture operator consent to these Terms electronically — participation is established through Valdor's separate onboarding process with each operator.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the marketplace, an operator must hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the relevant civil aviation authority, maintain aviation liability insurance at levels acceptable to Valdor, and remain in compliance with all applicable aviation safety and regulatory requirements throughout its participation.
3. Listings Accuracy
Availability, aircraft type, homebase, and empty-leg pricing information an operator supplies to the marketplace must be current, complete, and accurate at the time it is listed and kept up to date as circumstances change. An operator is responsible for promptly correcting or withdrawing a listing that is no longer accurate.
4. Quote Conduct
An operator responding to a quote request through the marketplace agrees to respond promptly, to honor a quote once given for its stated period of validity, and to maintain pricing integrity — a quoted price should reflect the operator's genuine, current offer, not a placeholder or a bait figure.
5. Fees and Commission
Fees and commission arrangements between an operator and Valdor are agreed separately, in writing, as part of Valdor's onboarding process with each operator. These Terms do not themselves state, or bind either party to, any specific fee or commission rate.
6. Booking, Confirmation, and Payment
A booking sourced through the marketplace becomes binding on the operator only once the operator has confirmed availability and Valdor has issued a written booking confirmation to the traveler. Payment handling and remittance between Valdor and the operator follow the terms agreed separately under Section 5.
7. Cancellations and Changes
An operator that must cancel or change a confirmed booking — including a change to the underlying charter itinerary that a listed empty leg depended on — agrees to notify Valdor as soon as possible so Valdor can offer the affected traveler an equivalent alternative or a full refund.
8. Safety and Operational Responsibility
The operator is the air carrier for every flight it fulfills through the marketplace and bears sole responsibility for the safe conduct of the flight, aircraft airworthiness, crew certification, and compliance with applicable aviation regulations. Valdor is a marketplace and broker; Valdor does not operate aircraft, does not employ flight crew, and does not assume the operator's regulatory or safety obligations.
9. Data Handling and Confidentiality
Availability, pricing, and fleet data an operator supplies to Valdor is used to operate the marketplace — matching, displaying, and quoting listings to travelers — and is not sold to third parties. Traveler contact and trip information an operator receives through the marketplace may be used only to fulfill the flight it relates to, and must not be used for any other purpose, including unsolicited marketing to that traveler.
10. Brand and Marketing Use
An operator may not use the Valdor Jets name, logo, or brand in its own marketing without Valdor's prior written consent. Valdor may identify a participating operator by name on the Website as the operating carrier for a listing, consistent with the disclosure aviation regulations already require.
11. Suspension and Removal
Valdor may suspend or remove an operator's listings from the marketplace, with or without prior notice, for conduct that Valdor believes violates these Terms, applicable aviation law, or poses a safety or reputational risk to travelers, Valdor, or the marketplace.
12. Changes to These Terms, Versioning, and Retention
Valdor may update these Terms from time to time. Each version is identified by the date shown at the top of this page.
We do not guarantee that every prior version of these Terms will remain available indefinitely. Download a copy for your records if you want to retain the version currently in effect.
13. Governing Language
These Terms are authored and control in English. Any translation provided is offered solely for convenience; where our language selector shows a translated version, the notice displayed above states that the English version governs.
